South Bay by the Gulf 062

The townhouse worked well for my husband and I and are three young kids. Our two boys slept comfortably in the guest room and my young daughter's pack n play even fit in a bathroom so she had her own space, too. The location is great with easy access to fishing in the lake and a quick 2 minute walk to the beach through the parking lot. This townhome also supplies chairs and umbrella service (free to us) at the beach, which was really convenient. The pool was heated but the baby pool was pretty chilly. The kitchen is stocked incredibly well and the place appears just as the pictures shown. And the property management team even gave our kids a bucket of toys to use for inside the condo and at the beach. That was a nice touch!

Nice setting by the pond. Relaxing spot conveniently located to many of Destin's offerings. The kitchen is well equipped

May 2017 Stay
AWESOME! The room was EXTREMELY nice and clean! Love to fish and caught several. We hope this room will be available when we come back in 2018??

we loved this unit and would definitely come back!
Great location! Easy access to the beach. The unit was super clean. The kitchen had all new pots and pans an was very well equiped, not like some where we had to buy a pan. The best part was that it was pet friendly.

this townhouse is a great location relative to the beach and shopping. 5 minute walk to the beach (no crossing the street). 7 minutes to the grocery store. 2 great bedrooms downstair. living room and kitchen upstair. very nice townhouse. I recommend this place

November Stay 2018

We loved our stay in this unit! The walk time to the beach was just fantastic! We enjoyed the things to do in the area and the coupon booklet to save some money! We will definitely be back!!!!

Townhouse was perfect for our family of five. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, bathrooms were spotless clean and well done, and the view from the deck was great. Nice to have beach service and the kids loved the heated pool. Service from Holiday Isle was great and the Easter Baskets for the kids was a nice suprise. Thanks for a great vacation.

The Grumpy Grouper made me anything but grumpy. The place was spotless and well stocked. We came with our kids 6-16 and they ALL had a blast. This listing came with two reserved chairs on a private beach that was about a 2 minute walk away, had two pools, and is walking distance to shops and restaurants. The guest book had lots of helpful tips for the area, as well! We will definitely be back!

August 2016 Stay
We loved it! The place was very homey & the kitchen was fully stocked with pans ??. The view was amazing from both balconies. The house was so clean and well organized. We would definitely stay here again

Great stay, convenient location!
While we've stayed at Southbay by the Gulf several times before, this was the first time we've stayed at a Holiday Isle property + on the southside of the property (we've stayed at Unit#15 which is right next to the front entrance). This unit faces the pond and it has 2 patios that face it -- one off the master bedroom and one off the living room. The floorplan has both bedrooms on the 1st floor and the kitchen/living space upstairs. This unit was well furnished and had everything you would need. In the kitchen, make sure you bring a roll of paper towels and a few extra garbage bags (they'll be 2 for a week stay). The rooms have plenty of towels and each one has a ceiling fan. The ceiling fan in the master needs to be balanced though -- made quite a bit of noise. Beds were comfortable! The owner of the unit also pays for their own internet, which means wifi is great! Some of the other units have the community wifi, which sucks. Overall, great upgraded unit!

What a great place to hick back and relax!
What a great place to kick back and relax! I love this unit! It's a cute home away from home with the ocean only a minute's walk away. I really do love sitting out on the deck reading or just hanging out with friends. The deck overlooks a lake and you can watch turtles swim. So cool! You are within walking distance to some of the stores and restaurants. Most stores you would need for shopping are right on the main drag. I've stayed in this unit a few times and each time was a great experience.
